November 16th, 2000. Robert Earl Davis Jr. aka The Originator aka DJ SCREW passed. REST IN PEACE...

Many, Many Southern Rap fans where left with a chunk of their soul missing.. knowing they will never be able to look forward to gettin that new screw-tape again... Years of religiously listening to the mix of the Texas DJ left me feeling like a dope fiend/junkie who just got locked up... the feelin in my gut resembled the worst of illness... The only thing i could figure, in the following days, was to try to do it myself... DJ Stretch was born from the Death of DJ Screw... and that is the only reason...

Without Screw.. there would be no Stretch...

The least i can do is Dedicate these mixshow to the man on the anniversary of his death...
